Nuflow Australasia has taken a progressive step in advancing pipe relining solutions in New Zealand by hosting a comprehensive multi-day training session focused on the Nu-V Line UV pipe relining technology. Held in February, the event brought together 12 franchise partners from across the country, providing them with the essential skills and knowledge to implement this state-of-the-art no-dig repair solution.
As a leader in the pipe relining industry, Nuflow continually seeks to refine its technology and enhance service delivery. This training, facilitated by IMPREG and Prokasro, was designed to ensure franchisees gained both theoretical understanding and hands-on experience with the latest UV curing techniques.
Colin Murphy, Country Manager AU & NZ at IMPREG Australia, spoke about the unique challenges of training with such sophisticated technology, stating that “It is always challenging to train the technical application of IMPREG liners and Prokasro UV equipment due to the inherent technical nature of the products and systems involved. That is why IMPREG worked closely with our client to devise a tailored training solution.”
To deliver a well-rounded learning experience, Prokasro deployed a team of international industry specialists who shared in-depth insights and practical expertise with the trainees.
Simon Little, International Sales at Prokasro, acknowledged the enthusiasm of the New Zealand trainees and the well-structured nature of the program, stating that the training programme organised by Nuflow Australasia in Palmerston North was well organised with trainees travelling from various locations around the country to attend.
By incorporating a mix of hands-on practical sessions and theoretical lessons, including video demonstrations and technical diagrams, attendees gained a deeper understanding of how to apply UV curing technology effectively. “Speaking with the trainees both during and after the training, it was clear that there is now a stronger emphasis on UV lining within their customer portfolio than before attending,” Little added.
One of the key takeaways from the training was the importance of teamwork and communication within the Nuflow network. Franchise partners had the opportunity to collaborate, share experiences, and develop best practices for implementing Nu-V Line technology. “The emphasis on both teamwork and communication was fully understood, and the ability of the Nuflow network to work together with franchise partners assisting each other was seen to be beneficial to all parties,” Little noted.
With franchisees now equipped with the latest UV relining techniques, Nuflow is set to strengthen its presence in the New Zealand market, with a number of UV relining jobs already completed and underway. This successful training initiative ensures that customers across the country can benefit from the most advanced, efficient, and long-lasting pipe repair solutions available today.
