Nuflow Australasia recently hosted an in-depth, multi-day training session at their head office in the Gold Coast, equipping franchise partners with the expertise needed to implement the latest Nu-V Line UV pipe relining technology. Held in late January and early February, the training welcomed 20 participants eager to enhance their technical skills and deliver the most advanced no-dig pipe repair solutions to their customers.
The training, conducted with support from highly regarded international partners IMPREG and Prokasro, combined hands-on practical experience with theoretical learning. Colin Murphy, Country Manager AU & NZ at IMPREG Australia, underscored the complexity of the training, “In late January and early February, IMPREG along with Prokasro had the opportunity to provide expert-level training to Nuflow in both Australia and New Zealand. It is always challenging to train the technical application of IMPREG liners and Prokasro UV equipment due to the inherent technical nature of the products and systems involved.”
Jamie Patrick, an Australian-based technician with over 17 years of global experience in liner installations, played a pivotal role in guiding the participants through the intricacies of the UV curing process. Prokasro also sent a team of international specialists, ensuring that trainees received unparalleled knowledge and insights.
“Prokasro came equipped with new UV equipment, a German technician and a long-term international sales manager both offering unparalleled advice and practical knowledge,” Murphy explained. The structured training approach included practical curing exercises, technical diagrams, and video demonstrations, helping participants fully grasp the nuances of the Nu-V Line system.
Simon Little, International Sales at Prokasro, praised the enthusiasm of the Australian trainees, stating, “The structure of the training programme, with emphasis on both the theory and practice, was enthusiastically received by the trainees and led to a heightened awareness and understanding of the UV lining process.”
The hands-on nature of the training allowed franchisees to refine their techniques, exchange knowledge, and collaborate on best practices. “Speaking with the trainees both during and after the training, it was clear that there is now a stronger emphasis on UV lining within their customer portfolio than before attending,” Little added.
With Nuflow’s commitment to innovation, the introduction of Nu-V Line in Australia marks a significant leap forward in the local pipe relining industry. The newly trained franchisees are now equipped to implement this next-generation UV curing technology, ensuring efficiency, durability, and superior service for customers across the region.
