Showcasing Nuflow At Total Facilities

Nuflow at Total Facilities

It was another highly productive week for our dynamic duo, Matt Bell and Jeff Hilditch, at Total Facilities at the ICC in Sydney’s Darling Harbour.

The team reported that while visitor numbers at this week’s expo were slightly lower than at Civinex last week, the calibre of visitor was outstanding.

Jeff Hilditch, Nuflow’s Sales and Operations Manager, told us

“This has been our best trade show yet! While last week we met a lot of people interested in ourBlueline solution– used for rehabilitatingstructuralpipes and drainage systems such as storm water and sewage pipes-this week the focus has been predominantly on applications ofRedline-a nonstructural coating made for steel and copper pressurisedpipes such as fire services lines. This has a lot to do with the strong attendance at Total Facilities by the top tier facilities management companies, some of which manage a thousand or more commercial buildings.

“We’ve also had a lot of interest from local visitors looking to restore pipes within heritage listed buildings an area which has traditionally been hamstrung by regulations and which we are really well placed to succeed in.”

In fact, when we spoke to Jeff, Matt was already out in the field with a new client who approached the Nuflow stand on day one of the expo. This new client required urgent repairs to damaged pipes under a water feature within a high-profile hotel complex. Matt, acting as a liaison between our local franchise partner and new client, was able to fast-track this urgent job while operating within stringent compliance requirements.

Feedback from visitors to the Nuflow stand at Total Facilities was overwhelmingly positive. Many visitors expressed their appreciation for the way Nuflow provides a complete solution.

“There were a lot of comments about how we manage the entireprocess from research and development to manufacturing of all materials, training and installation completely within Australia.

“We also heard some pretty big players within the industry tell us that we were the most informative display at the expo, a testament to the investment by the company in educational materials and support for its network and staff.

“Other visitors told us that it was good to get a refreshed perspective on relining which, while it has been around for 20 years, has been previously understood as something that was focused on residential pipe repairs. These visitors were really receptive to learning specific ways that Nuflow can be applied within their commercial settings.

“We’re now scheduling masterclasses with Q&A sessions to provide more in-depth education about relining for many of our visitors from this week’s expo.”

Matt and Jeff feel that they’ve been able to refine their approach to education and awareness this year, focussing on case studies and drawing on their wealth of experience in pipe rehabilitation projects. By asking visitors to talk about specific pipe issues they need addressed, the team had opportunities to offer real solutions, demonstrating how responsive Nuflow relining is.

Over all, Matt and Jeff were very excited about Total Facilities and are looking forward to what comes next. They’ve got a lot to do including more events between now and end of June.
