This information is general warranty information on Nuflow pipeline technology products and frequently asked questions around Nuflow warranties.

Nuflow Technologies 2000 Pty Ltd warrants that Nuflow liners are free from defects and will repair (by means in its sole discretion), replace or re-install any defective part or portion of the liner covered under the official written warranty provided to you prior to commencement of work.

Our warranty period for each product is subject to prior inspection, and a ‘fit for purpose’ assessment that will be confirmed in writing prior to commencement of work.

Our product warranty is subject to normal use, correct installation and maintenance, and the exclusions as outlined in the official written warranty provided to you prior to commencement of work.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonable foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

How long are our warranty periods?

Our product warranty covers up to fifty (50) years. However, this is subject to prior inspection and the warranty period will be confirmed in writing to you prior to commencement of work.

As a general guide for our products:

Residential and all commercial repairs using Blueline standard epoxy resins

Conventional residential (i.e. 100 and 150mm pipe) relining using Nuflow Blueline Standard epoxy resins will receive a 50-year product warranty.

The warranty period for non-conventional residential (i.e. greater than 150mm pipe) and all commercial works using Blueline Standard epoxy resins are subject to prior inspection and the warranty period will be confirmed in writing prior to commencement of work.

Residential and all commercial relining using Redline and Greenline epoxy resins

Residential and all commercial relining works using either Redline or Greenline epoxy resins will be assessed as being ‘fit for purpose’ by an authorised Nuflow technician and the assessment/information will be submitted to Nuflow Technologies 2000 Pty Ltd before Nuflow will issue up to a 50-year product warranty. The warranty period will be confirmed in writing to you prior to commencement of work.

Specialised relining using Blueline High Temperature and Acid Resistant epoxy resin

Specialised relining using Blueline High Temperature and Acid Resistant epoxy resins will be assessed as being ‘fit for purpose’ by an authorised technician and the assessment/information will be submitted to Nuflow Technologies 2000 Pty Ltd before Nuflow will issue up to a 25-year product warranty. The warranty period will be confirmed in writing to you prior to commencement of work.

To receive warranty on Blueline High Temperature and Acid Resistant epoxy resins, the following must be declared:

  • All chemicals, acids, caustics, bases expected to be used over the pipe’s service life.
  • Maximum temperature to be used over the pipe’s service life.
  • Conditions of post-cure (temperature/time) for all sections of the liner during installation.

Specialised relining using Blueline High Wear and High Impact epoxy resin

Specialised relining using Blueline High Wear and High Impact epoxy resins will be assessed as being ‘fit for purpose’ by an authorised Nuflow technician and the assessment/information will be submitted to Nuflow Technologies 2000 Pty Ltd before Nuflow will issue up to a 25-year product warranty. The warranty period will be confirmed in writing to you prior to commencement of work.

Non-conventional, custom-designed and experimental relining solutions

Non-conventional, custom-designed, experimental or trial works, or any works for unusual purposes or in exceptional circumstances will be assessed as being ‘fit for purpose’ by an authorised Nuflow technician or engineer before Nuflow Technologies 2000 Pty Ltd will issue a warranty period. The warranty period will be confirmed in writing to you prior to commencement of work.

How is my warranty registered with Nuflow?

Your warranty registration is registered to Nuflow Technologies 2000 Pty Ltd by your local Nuflow franchise team.

For conventional residential repairs, your local Nuflow franchise will provide the necessary written warranty information and video footage after completion of your job to Nuflow Technologies 2000 Pty Ltd at the same time it provides this warranty information to you.

For all other non-conventional residential repairs and all commercial repairs, a job specification request will be sent to Nuflow Technologies 2000 Pty Ltd by your local Nuflow franchise at time of inspection.

Upon receiving this information Nuflow will assess the information and issue the warranty period and terms prior to commencement of work.

Final registration of warranty will then be processed after work is completed and the required paperwork and video footage is supplied to Nuflow Technologies 2000 Pty Ltd by your local Nuflow franchise.

As a customer it is important that you keep the following documentation as a record of your job:

  • Copy of quote, invoice and payment receipt from the Nuflow franchise that conducted the installation work.
  • Copy of warranty documentation that the Nuflow franchise provided to you.
  • Copy of all pre, during and after video footage of the installation and repair.

What should I receive with my warranty?

You should receive a signed written warranty document and three pieces of video footage including:

  • Before video footage, clearly outlining the damage to the pipe.
  • During installation video footage, demonstrating the preparation and cleaning of pipe for relining.
  • After installation video footage, demonstrating the reline having repaired the pipe.

How do I make a warranty claim?

To make a claim you must contact Nuflow in writing at the postal address below.

You are welcome to contact Nuflow by phone or email if the matter is urgent, but this cannot be in lieu of communication to the postal address:

You must provide Nuflow with the with the following information and any other additional information Nuflow may require:

  1. Who installed the Nuflow liner
  2. Where the Nuflow liner was installed
  3. The date of installation
  4. A copy of the quote and a receipt of payment
  5. Details about the nature and extent of the defect(s) and how you confirmed it; and
  6. Any video, picture or written evidence you have in relation to the defect(s).

To entitle you to claim, you must give Nuflow the opportunity to investigate your claim prior to engaging any other person to investigate or carry out works on the liner. A failure to do so voids warranties.

What happens when a claim is submitted?

If you make a claim, Nuflow will verify and promptly inspect your claim and advise you whether the warranty responds to your claim. Assuming the claim falls within the warranty, Nuflow will notify you, proposing to fix the defect(s) promptly.

Are there costs associated with making a warranty claim?

Nuflow will not charge you for processing your claim on the warranty. If the warranty responds to your claim, Nuflow will be responsible for the service and/or labour costs associated with the work under the warranty.

Under a warranty you are responsible for:

  • Those incurred by you in making a claim and any costs incurred prior to Nuflow being made aware of your claim; and
  • Nuflow’s costs to investigate your claim if the investigation reveals the claim is not covered by the warranty. In which case, Nuflow will issue you an invoice to be paid without delay.
