Nuflow was engaged to deliver structural rehabilitation works for a 300mm reinforced concrete stormwater pipe located at the corner of Vincent and Paul Court in Baulkham Hills. The project, referenced under #Q24-0147, required careful planning and execution, including site inspections, coordination with council representatives, and multiple mobilisations to overcome access challenges. Using the IMPREG UV structural liner system, the goal was to restore the integrity of the existing RCP without the need for disruptive excavation works.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

CHALLENGE<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

During the preliminary inspections and preparation works, several issues were identified that required resolution before relining could take place:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Access difficulties:<\/strong> Crews had trouble opening the stormwater pit and running the necessary ropes for liner installation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Obstructions in the host pipe: <\/strong>A section of concrete was blocking the pipe, preventing the liner from being pulled through.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Debris build-up:<\/strong> Sediment and debris within the line required removal to allow for a clean rehabilitation process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
